The Northern Continent, Eubonia, is the larger of the two. A mountain chain divides east and west, the seven countries of Eubonia fall to the either side of this chain. The mountains themselves form a sort of no-man's-land where goblins, dwarves, and wood elves dwell.
Shalop's nearest neighbour is Lavanthia which lies on the southwest corner of the continent. Lavanthia is rural and its people agrarian. The only two cities of note are elfin and these are hidden by fog. Shalop and Lavanthia can boast the largest population of little people, brownies and pix, and for this reason they are considered blessed. A reputation that is more than earned. Of all the northern continent, they are the most stable politically and are peaceful neighbours. Conflict is limited to quibbling over which of the two sovereigns will take precedence during annual Brigitta Day parade, which they celebrate jointly at the stone circle along their common border.
